Creative use of the iPhone
This is the application we are most proud of.

Point your iPhone at something, and it shows you the distance. How cool is that?

Remember, you need to align three lines. The “Ground level” line in the camera preview, the subject base in camera preview, and the subject base outside camera (see the drawing on the left upper corner). With a little practice,  it is quick and easy. We are getting so good at it that we use it to measure our rooms.

Range Scope is the easiest and quickest way to get a rough distance measurement on a level surface.

Simply align the ground line in the camera preview to the base of the subject, both in camera and off camera. You will get a distance reading at the bottom of the screen, within 2% to 3% of the actual distance.
